you can goto fd-warranty and talk with them on a toyota vsa.
and yes the website looks like it not even finished or sus or janky (however you want to call it)
plenty of people on here, tundras.com and other 4runner forums have bought from them.
i will be buying one come later this month or...
a 10yrs/100k vsa platinum is roughly $1545
10/125k is roughly $2005
just remember toyota vsa will include the 3/36k within its plan so you have to subtract 3yrs/36k miles from your plan
so a 10yr is now 7 yrs and 100k is now 64k effective
and a 10yrs / 125k is now 89k effective.
toyota vsa...
you will need to get a exploded view of the center console to figure out what needs to be taken apart.
maybe someone with access to a parts breakout or exploded view can help.
well it depends. the 8in screen has the volume knob in the bottom left of the screen.
the 14in screen has the volume knob between the vents.
since he is doing a retro fit, and didnt buy a kit with instructions, he will have to get a dash expanded view to see how to remove the vents.
i am...
i just installed one of these on the 23 tundra (specific for the 2022+ tundra), really love the solid metal construction
here is the 25 4runner version page

might want to caveat that, tv's now a days are really cheap vs a few years for the same model. reason is to get you to buy a $400 55in tv vs the $800 55in tv. why is it so cheap?
they track your viewing habits and what not. thats where they make the profit. it no longer about being free, but...
or force it to detect a trailer. connect a 7 pin adapter (if you have a spare one) so it actually detects a trailer and then wait like 1-2 mins and go remove the adapter.
i actually carry a spare 7/4 adapter, cause u-haul trailers
sadly the small print gets them out of any issues
related issue with the 2022-2023 tundra with the tundra passenger mirror being auto dimming. its listed on website and brouchure but only the drivers side was auto dimming. (and i was not happy with our platinum not have a passenger dimming...
most dashcams have a setting for battery voltage. i think viofo can be set to 12.4v and turns off (i think you can set it within a pre set range in the menu)
from what i have seen
1. the electric blue bar gauge up to 1/2 will only use the battery (80-90% of the time this will apply)
so if you feather the gas pedal to keep the electric guage below 1/2 i can maintain speed on electric only, but it is short lived, tops 1 min)
2. i have notice the...
start small projects first. simple ones that run a few hours to less than a day.
that way you can get a feel how things are to tackle harder projects like armor and what not
vehicle metal hydride batteries are used differently than say a prius battery pack
have to take into account your battery gauge is from 0-100% but technically its only showing 40% to 80% percent actual charge represented as 0-100%.
it keeps some in reserve to ensure you can start the vehicle...
the tire outer tread would be affected by it more than the metal plate would (since the outer circumference of the tire would be closer to the exhaust piping). there is enough airflow underneath to negate the heat soak i think, unless you are sitting for long periods of time idling.
yeah i had a big rant on this before. its a matter of risk (inconvenience) vs convenience
there is so much tracking you, its not even funny anymore. credit cards, loans, credit ratings, bank transactions, swiping your credit card to purchase stuff.
unless you are using cash for everything...
