Yeah, weird indeed. I can understand initially telling them you intend to finance (just to keep their interest piqued) and then changing to cash when the time comes, but that credit stuff should be none of their business at the reservation stage knowing how 4R sales apparently work in Canada
If...
What's wrong with having a thread in which to share numbers? Clearly the data can help clear up misconceptions, since there are new buyers on here who believe the word Hybrid should have necessary connotations as to mpg
How's Toyota's manual climate in your experience? Easy to use? That is one of my only real concerns as I haven't had completely manual A/C in a fvery long time.
Sorry, what do you mean by straight bolts on?
The only snag seems to be that the middle crossmember holes in the skid plate (where the control arms are i think) are not exactly the same as on Tacoma, NYTOP clarified last week.
And possibly needing to get some fasteners as mentioned in this...
What was their rationale behind the credit app? We don't get factory "orders" in Canada so you are only putting some money down for a place in line in hopes that they get a hold of a vehicle that fits your requirements. There's no need for them to discuss any of those financing details at that...
Knock is hardly the same as injector noise though.......there are plenty of reasons to use premium gas including a not-insignificant hp/tq gain on T24A-FTS just from the gas alone, but saying that it reduces D-4S clatter is a somewhat novel claim
I took a look at their website. "Soft touch". Take it to a touchless wash; put a car nozzle on your power washer and get a foam cannon; wash it the old fashioned way; try a rinseless or waterless wash, whatever. Literally anything is better than that car wash place if you care about your paint.
I don't disagree. The 3rd row is exceedingly useless for seating most normal sized people. Just saying that the cards we've been dealt means that the relatively flat cargo surface might be a pretty big reason to go for the 3rd row - I value the Canada spec SR5 3rd row for that reason.
In all...
Is yours a 7 seat Limited? 3 row seems to be the only way to get an almost-flat cargo area with the 2nd row folded down. Hybrid doesn't do it and 2 row gas isn't even close.
Gotta get an OBD scanner/plug and use the Carista app to turn off fake engine noise
Though I'm not sure how that applies to OP since it's clearly recorded from outside, at the engine bay
Still, it sounds fine, DI motors make all kinds of noises. Does sound really diesel-y even for D-4S though...
Nice. Waiting on the same color SR5, put my deposit down beginning of April. Dealer called me last week about a white SR5 they got and if I wanted in (tentatively put all colors down at first since no one could give me a clear answer as to general availability or wait time), but it was white so...
It shouldn't be like that, but having dealt with countless dealer service depts and tire shops in the last 10 years, it's more or less what I expect. Somehow ensuring the steering wheel is centered is a task that is either impossible or magnitudes more difficult than doing the actual alignment...
My understanding with my dealer is that the deposit is refundable until they find a vehicle, I accept it, and we sign the forms for it.
As for extra "work on the vehicle" or accessories, I just keep everything in writing with the dealership. If they try to pull a fast one with unexpected...
It seems that this is just the way that some Toyota dealerships have gone. I'm not aware of it happening at a large scale across other brands' dealerships, so I'm not sure what's going on. Many Toyota dealers in my area basically barely use or don't use their websites at all to showcase...
imho Toyota probably threw that in the manual for the Hybrid, and was too lazy / didn't see the sense in dividing the manual into separate gas and hybrid sections just for that. It makes a bit of sense at least for the hybrid given frequent engine shutoffs.
For gas it just makes no sense to be...
Forum and video reviewers in the past few months I guess. The wind noise aspect is not much of a secret. Some of them might be reviewing 1958 but I'm not aware of higher trims adding acoustic glass over 1958 anywhere. Conversely for the 4R, SR5 has front side acoustic glass and some higher trims...
Dunno......off the top of my head I can already remember a few accounts on here of rough ride on SR5, Sport and Limited...in the past month
Point taken, however, because I can recall people like Topher getting seat time in Limited and Platinum and not complaining in the same way about the AVS...
