Same here. Looks like crappy design on the panel and not an assembly issue. I guess they are going for the Kia quality now to save money and charge more.
I know from detailed testing on a prior vehicle, hilly terrain really impacts MPG. with data from this thread, I seem to summarize that MPG can be 17 - 26. Quite a spread. We as humans are the biggest variable in that second to terrain, tires, mods, weather. If you add towing into the mix, you...
I am just reading the manual on "Brake Hold". First time Toyota owner here. The manual starts with "Enabling the Brake Hold" but does not tell you how to enable or disable. Page 231. There is a graphic showing the parking brake button. Maybe that is dual function, Parking Brake and Brake Hold...
I can see the bits in the first pic on the oily glove. I just cannot understand the second pic. I get the topic and understand the importance of early oil changes. My issue is the picture, I don;t know what is in the frame. Looks like molten reflective metal, a lot of it. I see a brick house in...
I wish. I know I would have spent more money to get a trim with that engine. I am old school in terms of believing a larger engine is going to be less stressed doing the same work as a smaller displacement engine.
I completely agree on the Toyota buying process. Its not a good start to a new buyer. As stated in another thread, I was ready to buy a Tundra after the 4Runner, within 3 months. However, I am not rewarding Toyota for a crappy buying experience. My first and maybe last Toyota.
The whole procurement process from Toyota is very off putting. I was planning to get a Tundra but, I really don’t want to reward Toyota for this crap. Back to Ford, F150, V8 5.0 for me
A diesel option would be nice and far better for towing. In the UK and Europe, the Land Criuser is only available in diesel. So I know Toyota has that option.
I had debris in another vehicles AC/ Heater fan. Was from parking outside one night and mice or other vermin getting in and leaving nut shells. The fan eventually mashed up the mess and no more noise.
Fingers crossed for you.
Adding foam is a band aid and not a fix. Why don;t they give you headphones or tell you to turn up the audio :)
Seriously, if this does not happen on all vehicles, they need to find and fix the source of the noise, not hide it. Dealer service departments frustrate me.
I hope they get to a real...
