Has anyone noticed or can you take a look at the top of the black rubber windows seal. It's on the rear doors, both matching and in the same place. It's the top horizontal seal, closest to the front doors. It does not overlap and dips down for about 4 inches. See attached picture.
Good luck. I am watching this closely. Did it happen at lower mileage too, like 200?
I am at 250 and turning left at about 20mph I heard a thunk on the front left. Not been able to reproduce. Would like to know what you guys with the issue recommend to reproduce.
Follow up - I was out and about today and using the rear door. Probably 10+ times. I do now notice that on closing, it rattles and sounds cheap. This is the manual, use your arms and not a button mechanism.
I get it, its a Toyota, not a Range Rover.
Just checked a 4 week old 4Runner. Yes, it has movement but it might be by design to prevent rattles, etc. I am fussy but I am equally not too worried about this.
The unsolicited commentary was to provide needed emphasis on the tire attributes and goals. As commented by "Nubbins_" There are potential issues going with too large a tire on the stock rim.
Your choice of tire satisfies your needs and looks good but I doubt it would contribute to a quite...
Do you mean the front, lower air dam? Pictures are worth a thousand words.
As you referred to the roof, I assume you might mean the overhang that covers the rear wiper???
Either way, mine is solid.
My goal is to increase the tire size to absorb road imperfections, bumps, potholes. Not looking for off-road capability, "poke", etc. Also, not wanting to change stock SR5 wheels.
I seem to remember reading a thread that has a 275 17 tire on it but apparently the tire spec requires a larger...
It would be nice for the forum to capture these issues, dealer name, work order number and what was done or note done.
Then, present to tour dealers SD, the area rep and Toyota corp.
I had Ford tell me after a full rotor and pad job that the squeaking was normal. I told him its never made...
I use the AT&T hotspot that is built in to the 4Runner. It switches off when you turn the car off. Is anyone aware of a hack to keep it powered up when the car is off?
I am not sure that the SR5 has the safety features that cause the alerts so you should be good. Others may confirm my thoughts as I have not got my rack fitted yet.
I agree, do your research. Unfortunately dealer techs are not all good. They want you in and out ASAP. Advisors are worst. I too would list and provide a printed copy of what the symptoms are a d my expectations. I give one to the advisor and ask if he has any questions. I leave another in the...
