I found the onscreen button to unmute on the carplay map screen, as stated in my initial post. The issue is, it seems to default to off for spoken directions . All other audio works including streaming from the iphone, siri, etc.

I wonder if anyone is experiencing this. Using Apple Maps (up to date iOS). I connect before starting the car. After about 20 seconds, it's on the screen. If I enter a route and start driving, I only get on screen directions. If I tap the screen a speaker icon comes up on the middle right side...

I was a bit worried about that too. They required a 50% deposit, not sure what the terms are on that. If they screw it up, they will fix it. Its really a small job so I am less concerned. If a full vehicle, I would rethink it.

As stated. I had to purchase a longer hitch pin. I spoke to support and they seem to know tge issue. They really should ask when you purchase. My other minor issue, albeit annoying is the rack tilts to tge left. Its lower by about 3/4” - 1” when the hitch pin anti-wobble bolt is tightened...

As stated, it’s super easy once you figure out how to remove the pins. Mine came with Japanese instruction and pictures.

Just some feedback on the OEM cargo mat that I have. It's only 2 weeks old and had groceries on it for 2 trips. It looks like it's 3 years old, scuffed up, marked, etc. I tried to clean it and the light colored scuffs do not come off. I know, it's only a Cargo mat but, it should hold up better...
