I may be going with the Perry Parts. Going to wait for their V3 to come out.
I just ordered their standard bump stops for the LC250 - seeing my 4runner is going to use the LC250 brackets!

Heads up - GXOR gets you 10% off!

Thanks to the OP for providing all this info! Ordered all the parts suggested/listed. If Toyota thinks the LC and GX needs them, then the 4Runner should definitely have them too!

Which style did you purchase? I see theres quite a lot of bump types for the LC250. ADS 2.125, King?
I cant seem to find documentation on it.

What do you think the Tacoma's are made from? Remember steel is cheaper than aluminum.
well considering i own a tacoma and have swapped the suspension, they're aluminum. they are not the same as the 4R. just like how the front strut and LCA is different from a 4g tacoma compared to the 6g 4R and LC

Whoa, surprised they made them out of aluminum.

It's very common for them to fail even over small bumps on the 4GT's. The current fix is to run Icon reinforcement tophat plates.
Where did you get those TLC brackets from? I ordered yesterday online only to be told today they don't have them, and have no ETA if they will become available. From my local Toyota dealer.

We got them from our local dealership Baxter Toyota in Lincoln, NE. They ordered them in, I think it only took a couple days.

Ok, now it's getting weird. toyotapartsdeal accepted my order but today I got an email saying the order is cancelled because they can't source any of the parts!
Same time I got an email from my original Toyota dealer - who said they could not get the parts - saying that everything has been shipped and on its way to me! When I had them on the phone I said just send what they have in stock (skid plates etc) and refund the rest that they do not have in stock.
They billed the full amount so I am asssuming everything has been sent. But I'll know once it shows up!

FYI the new PerryParts front bump stops due January are $250/pair! The current ones are $99. If my brackets do show up, I am getting the current ones.

Patrick at Perryparts plans to offer the bumpstops for sale with the towers and fasteners included I believe for 6th gens. This is probably why they will be more expensive when they release.

He registered to participate in the forum but I do not believe his account has been approved yet.
