Lasfit f/r mats
4th Gen spare rim
Discount Tire Rocky Mt AT spare
Beatsonic amp
TRD skid plate
Oem recovery hooks.

I bought the 6gen to replace my 2015 jeep. My use case is mild off road to get to fishing camping spots and good in the snow. So far so good. The storm that dumped over the Thanksgiving weekend proved it Handles well in the slop. What I was surprised at is the traction and handling in heavy rain. Very good.

Not really a build but here are a few pics.
Edit: the spare rim was off of a 4th gen tacoma. They fit in the 17 size. I installed the spare as test. It works.

Why didn’t you go with a 275 or 285? You could fit either,

that sr 5 looks really good with those tires and skid plate. you did a good job..i also removed the 4 stock Yokohoma All Season Tires and replaced with BRIDGESTONES AT ASCENT DUELERS. In addition, I had Toyota remove my Temp Spare and Install a Full-Spare w/same rims and Tire as above..i stayed with the 245 70 R17s..wish i had stepped up to the 265s like you..Sorry for the long post but I do have a question for you.

Did your SKID PLATE FIT exactly w/o any type of mods? thanks in advance..

Yep. I had a local outfit powder coat the standard trd skid black and ordered the bolts from my local dealer. To my surprise they were black as well. I didn't even check color before I ordered them. But they look good with the powder coat.

Just an update on the rig. I had to drive the day after Christmas from Chicago to Buffalo, NY for a funeral. I had 3 passengers. Made very good time There and back. Two points: my mpg was not very good; @ 19 mpg on the highway and the feel at speed without the air dam made the front end feel light. On the other hand it began raining @ Ashtabula and was freezing solid by Erie. The road into Buffalo from the state line was an ice rink. In 4wd it handled really well. The only issue was the sensor would freeze over and shut down the nanny features. That is fine. The problem arose when you hit a bump and the ice would fall off the sensor and they would kick back on. The vehicle would fight to find lane markers and adjust steering. No bueno when you are on ice. All in all happy with how it handled.
