Drove the SR5, ORP, Land Cruiser first Edition over the same roads I drive every day. The best ride was the Land Cruiser, then the SR 5, the ORP had the bumpiest ride. I bought the SR 5,

so anyone know what hybrids actually come with an alternator or just the ones that options out the aux switch bank feature?
I think they come with an Alternator if you ordered it a certain way (Upperfitter switches and something else Max tow I beleieve)

there is no max tow pkg for any toyota model. either a tow pkg is installed or not, and each tow pkg is rated differently depending on model.

they can be as low/high depending on trim within a model :

rav4 1500-1750
highlander and grand 5000
4runner 5000-6000
taco 6000-6500
tundra 10000-12500
sequoia 9000
sienna 3500

Make sure to test drive one first. I was all set to buy a limited until I drove one...jarring is an understatement. Went with a TRD ORP instead and am quite happy with it. IMO drove a lot better than the limited.
Interesting, what makes the TRD ORP drive better than the Limited?

Kind of a bummer learning that the Limited has a jarring ride. My local dealerships still doesn't have a Limited in stock yet to test drive.

it’s funny, no one in this forum or on youtube complained about the ride until this video.
as good as tccn videos are, they shouldn’t trump your own observations.

I don't think there have been any Limiteds delivered until very recently, and I seem to recall someone here did complain after delivery. While ride quality is subjective, and people have different tolerances, it's something that could be objectively measured with calibrated, instrumented testing on a test course and compared to other trims. I don't think any content creators do anything like that though. There's a smartphone app (vibratesoftware.com) for this sort of thing, but the sensors in smartphones are probably not high quality or calibrated.

Dunno......off the top of my head I can already remember a few accounts on here of rough ride on SR5, Sport and Limited...in the past month

Point taken, however, because I can recall people like Topher getting seat time in Limited and Platinum and not complaining in the same way about the AVS ride. And one has to wonder about SR5 stiff ride complaints being anything but heavily subjective and possibly biased by lack of diverse seat time in body on frame vehicles in general.

The SR 5 rides the best, I drove most of them and bought the SR5, But the SR5 still does handle the road imperfections like the Gen 5.

Did you figure out any mods for your SR5 to make it ride a little better?

Limited here. Can confirm that it's jarring in "normal" drive mode and relatively ok in "comfort" drive mode
