Do you have the part number for the TRD tow hook? Trying to see if they are any cheaper than the aftermarket options. Can't believe what they are charging for such a simple product.

Took the blue beast bluebonnet peeping this weekend.
Loving the full Xpel ceramic tint (windshield and moon roof too) and the peace of mind of Xpel on the front bumper and headlights.

Toyo Open Country AT3s going on this week

Stunning pics!! What camera do you use? I like how the red front tow recovery hooks adds even more color to the scenery.

Toyo Open country AT3s installed this week 265/70/18 (32.7"). So far no noticeable change in MPG (18.2 avg). No additional road noise, no real change in handling other than just a slightly less nimble feel (to be expected with ATs) but wayyy less of a change than going to Load C or E BFGs.

Mounted the OEM rock rails using the cbi threadless hardware kit. Was a giant paint in the ass and I had to go to Lowe’s halfway through because the bolt used to seat the expanding nuts kept stripping.

Happy with how they turned out but still upset with Toyota that they didn’t thread the holes on these frames.

For your rock rails. Im guessing your frame didnt have threaded holes. How many were missing threads do you recall?

Also what kind of expanding nuts were they? You have a pic?

I could have sworn I replied to this. Sorry about that. 6 unthreaded holes per side. I got the kit from CBI for like $25 that included everything needed. Here's a post with pics and more info
