2026 TRD ORP - TRD 2.5" Lift Kit + Toyo R/T Trail 285/75R17 + KMC Technic 17x8.5 +18mm (slight trimming)

I’ve been considering the trd lift kit. How is the ride compared to before? My main concern is I need the ride softer especially after the at tires, I can feel much more of the small bumps and what not. I know the fox 2.0 are pretty plush according to alldogsoffroad video he had.

Did you get the E rated tires? Most are going for C rated in 285/70/17. The 18 inch wheels on the new 4 runner don’t have C rated. It’s exactly why I put 17’s on it

I’m on 17” rrw wheels with SL load tires just for that reason. On terra grapplers. Before had the tundra with E rated 35” tires and they didn’t make much of a difference, mostly cuz it was a much more comfortable car to begin with. So it is what it is. But I do wanna lift and with that would like to also get a more comfortable ride if possible.

With stock wheel and tires I didn’t feel the road much over 65mph but now ya it’s noticeable. Much more feedback to the steering wheel. Still, would not go back to stock lol.

Does it rub full turn?

It does rub a little when reversing into my driveway at full turn. I plan to trim it. Other than that, no rubbing. They did do a very slight trim when I got the lift done. It's such a small trim, you can't even notice it even when staring at it in person.
