As far as I know, ALL of the lights on the 4Runner are already LED. There would have a be A SIGNIFICANT upgrade in output (thats safe AND legal) or additional feature while maintaining OE quality for me to even CONSIDER any change.

Perhaps, but the OP was talking about projectors and entire assemblies. I guess of you want a different look, an aftermarket assembly could be an option.

At least it's not about the 5th gen this time

Directional's are halogen but easily upgraded with lasfit LED's. They have switchback or amber all the time versions. .
