So thats approx 3 gallons (19 gallon tank?)I've been usually putting in just shy of 16 gallons when stopping right on the fuel light.
Exactly...if you run it to empty you still have close to 50 miles of range left. Insurance policySo does that mean when I hit 0 miles left I'll actually have multiple gallons left? I ran my tank down to 4mi range and could only put 16 gallons in exactly
unless nevada, arizona, new mexico. plenty of roads with no service for 50-100 miles outside of the interstate roads.True...but in reality you had closer to 75 miles left...so you would really have to be off the grid to not have a fuel station within 75 miles!!
The most famous long, straight road in Nevada is U.S. Route 50, also known as the "Loneliest Road in America". The highway is known for its long, uninterrupted stretches through high desert landscapes, but it also features curves over mountain passes and passes through several small historic towns. Other long straight roads in Nevada include parts of U.S. Route 6, which has a 163-mile gap in services.
