We have a TRD Off-Road and have recently equipped it with 2” ReadyLift leveling kit. We also have the upgraded TRD black 18” wheels. There aren’t a ton of of choices out there. We are trying to balance wanting a more agressive tread that will be good for occasional off-roading, and provide a comfortable ride while not giving up a bunch in MPG.
We have narrowed it down to three choices. Each have pros and cons.:
Falken AT4W 285/70 (load range C, but heavy at 69lbs)
Falken AT4W 285/65 (load range SL, reasonable at 50lbs)
TOYO Open Country A/T III 275/70 (load range SL, 44lbs)
Thoughts please.
