well if you do that then you kill the seat cooling also.
I don’t think fabric dyes would do anything to seat cooling. Maybe you’re referring to a seat cover?

To be fair I’m saying I’d do that in jest. I’d be more likely to find a seat swap with someone that likes the camo.

Neither. Have you considered the Off-Road Premium hybrid? That's my choice.

But of those two, the Limited. I really can't imagine who the Pro is for.
Me....:)

I got the camo in my Pro and I wasn't thrilled about the look of it at first either but to be honest, I don't even notice it anymore. The camo pattern is not that pronounced and unless your specifically looking at the pattern it kind of fades into a dark blue/gray.

I definitely didn't want the other option. The Red was just too much for me....lol

Congrats on the new Pro, your gonna love it.

Thank you! And you’re right, I barely notice the camo. It’s been really fantastic so far and quite comfortable in the city. My MPG on the other hand… ?

I'm facing a similar decision between the Pro and Limited. I'll be doing mostly city driving, over some rough roads with potholes, and occasionally moderate trails. Perhaps the Limited makes more sense. But what makes the most sense isnt the most desirable. There's something about the 6th gen TRD Pro...

@zesh How is the TRD Pro holding up for you? How does it feel at high-speed on highways, and generally on-road?

Did you end up taking it off-road as you originally thought you would once in a while?

I bought the Limited in Underground gas ver. with the beautiful brown leather interior with all the tech you can add.

However, I LOVED the outside only look of the TRD PRO. You can always make the Limited look more aggressive on the outside if you want while having the beautiful luxurious interior. That's what I did.

Also if you just do light trails or go to Costco like me you really don't need all the cool stuff that the TRD PRO has.

@Griffin27 that looks amazing, looks like the Pro until I looked closer. What mods did you do, and which wheels are those? Replacing wheels is the first thing I'd do on the Limited

Wheels are Nitto Recon G3s 270/70/18, oem Pro rims. Put RC extended fender flares as well. Also replaced the hood etc.

I came from a 21 Limited but I was just in love with those red seats and the look of the pro I couldn’t get away from it… I don't offroad nearly as much as I used to, but I still wanted the option to do so. That's a 1995 Wrangler in the garage, I've been hitting the Northwest outdoors since 96 with her, and it was time for something 2025ish.

Haha. I do imagine that 95% of Pro buyers aren't fully utilizing what it was built for. But that said, do we really need any of the fancy things we buy on elevated trim levels? I'm not so sure.

I love this comment. Why buy the Pro? Because the resale value will be much better....but really....because the thing looks sick! Most of the things we use a 4runner for you could do with a Prius. Lots of leg room in a Prius. Way better MPG. Cheaper to replace tires. Other than pulling a trailer, they meet every need and do it more efficiently. But...it's a Prius. There isn't a cool forum for Prius owners like this one. So if we want to go with the argument of what you "need" we wouldn't be considering the 4runner at all. The Crown Signia would be another great option for pretty much everything
and it tows 2700 lbs. But again....it's a Crown Signia. Sleek and fancy looking with exceptional MPG. But what "cool" are you going for? The limited is not the same "cool" as the Offroad or Sport, or Pro.
Do your teenage kids and wife think the Limited is cool, or the Pro? That's all the matters. Who gives a crap about "need"?

lol its all relative.

you want the cool factor, me i can only go for the platinum/limited trim (i need/prefer the FT4WD that is offered in those trims only for our ND winters and getting to work)

i went platinum since i had a limited last time, so i am going upgraded mode this time around. this should be my retirement vehicle once paid off.

The Platinum also looks sick. I love the blacked out tail lights and other upgrade touches it has. Great choice.
