These have been sitting for a few weeks in the garage, and since Socal weather wasn’t too shabby today, i decided to install them. The mud flap install seriously took longer than the running boards.. Lol.

If i had to do it again, i’d probably just get the Ark Mini, but overall, im happy with how it turned out.

Install time for everything was around 2.5 hours by myself.. i was taking my time and had a couple beers as well.

Are the mud flaps no drilling required and what is the price?

Has anyone used the micro's, I'm looking for one's that can be used offroad but not sure how good that's gonna work with road grit flying up and the mid's look about what I got.

OEM drug against everything, they bent, twisted and then went back into shape but it beat the crap out of the bottom edge. Now I take them off when I hit the trails but that's a pain.

Yes, that's what I meant :) I have OEM running boards ordered too and I am going to take pictures of the entire vehicle and post with everything added.

I just installed mine. Took about an hour to do all four. Once you get one of the front an rear on, then you can do the other side of the truck with no issues.

The rear flaps have 3 holes (identified as the yellow dots in the attached diagram) that don't go into anything (at least for those that don't come with the OEM flaps already installed). I didn't drill any new holes during my install as it would require removing the tires. It seems secure enough but I'll take it for a spin and if any issues, I'll report back.

As mentioned, the supplied screws are longer and use a machine thread versus the OEM coarse threads. I did run into a problem with the supplied screw in the inner wheel well area when it came to tightening it. It didn't tighten all the way and required me to reach behind with some pliers to hold down the plastic nut in order to tighten it down snug without the required washer spinning freely.

Attached is install diagram for use with the included hardware that would work for micro, mid and regular flaps.

Looks good. These are the mid-length Ark flaps? I've been having issues with the OEM Toyota mud flaps. Still managing to shoot gravel into my door panels and even up to the roof (4 times so far!). I assume it's the result of the wheels being turned and perhaps no mud flap will truly reduce this. Stock TRD ORP wheels with +55 offset, so they're tucked into the fender for the most part.

Got any better pics, maybe from the side with a wider shot? Trying to decide between mid and full. Full looks a bit lower than stock Toyota mud guards. A bit of a concern off road since the Ark's are only slightly bendable.
