So, mine didn’t come with it but was suppose to. The dealership tried a few they had on hand and they were too big. So waiting to see if they release a 2025 tip instead of trying to put the 2024 models on with different part #s. I’m not bring charged. I’m just waiting bc what they tried didn’t fit correctly. I have a TRD Pro.

Can assure if they got this part for you. It is a 100% fitment for your TRDpro. Like myself and others with pros, we were able to install it and it’s the perfect fitment.

I’m waiting on them to drop specifically for the Pro. Not one that fits. That just has the standard Toyota logo. Most of us are waiting on the one that will have TRD on it…which they should be making soon.

and that’s perfectly fine to wait. Just responding back to you because you stated that they tried a few on hands and it didn’t fit. If they got the correct part number then it’d fit fine. GL and hopefully they’ll make a trd version.

I am going to look into having my mechanic cut a foot off the end of the exhaust pipe and attach the black TRP tip just after the hanger closer to the rear axle. I do not want the tip sticking out any further than it already does. I think it looks way to aftermarket protruding beyond the spare tire. Don't get me started on how bad that looks off centered and hanging too low.

I agree with you. The way the tailpipe hangs that low and that far out looks absolutely hideous. I don't like tailpipes showing on SUVs unless it's an Akrapovic or the likes. This just looks cheap and I don't care what anyone says. That's a fail.

NYTOP makes an option for folks if they don't want to cut it off (I'm sure Sxth Element will also make one eventually), but I plan on doing what I did to my 5th Gen TRD Pro. Just cut if off at an angle pointing down. Costs me 5 mins with my angle grinder. Can't see it at all.

Cheers!

You did this on an Off Road Premium? My exhaust inlet is at 4 inches and the black exhaust tip insert inlet is at 2.8 inches.
Did you ever get this resolved? Just got mine today and I’m with you— no way in hell this fits… 😭. I have an ORP Hybrid.

how did you get it to fit? like Krisko mentioned, inlet is like 2.8” and the exhaust pipe itself is so much more wider.

So, does this tip fit if you don't use the silver collar and you spread the end piece? And, does the existing pipe extend deep into the tip, well beyond the short neck?

No, it doesn't :(. I didn't even bother with the collar, because it's just way wider, even if I spread the end piece. And no, same issue-- it's just that much wider, that it doesn't extend deep into it at all. Based on my brief research, I suspect that the TRD Pro and others (than ORP Hybrid, or not sure if all hybrids are like this) have a wider exhaust. I doubt they sent me the wrong part, because damn, there's just no way this fits on there... maybe if you cut the short end part off.

Thanks. I hope Toyota gets this figured out.

Does the black clamp fit over your pipe?

I have the Pro and I was able to make that fit. At first it seemed like it was way too small but the pipe being cut at an angle makes it seem like it is way bigger than it is. I simply spread the expansion notches just a little with a vise and it resulted in “what seemed like” huge gains. Then the tip slid right on the pipe and I clamped in place.
