Has anyone tried fitting previous gen 17 inch TRD pro rims +4 offset onto their 6th gen 4runner?

Rave offroad did and it looks badass. I have this set on my 5th gen and I'm tempted to swap them out lol.

Ah no way!! Thanks for sharing. Looks SO good. These TRD rims are superior to any new ones in my opinion. He looks lifted with big wheels eh? I’m wanting to put on a stock SR5 with only 265/70/17’s. Might have to buy and test the fit

I have a '23 with the most recent 4Runner TRD Pro wheels and 275/70/17 I'll test fit when we get ours in a month.

Sweetness, keep posted! What trim will you be putting them on?

TRDOR Hybrid, after looking at the pics it seems they'll be too much poke but the Heritage Blue one looks good. Might not be a month as my estimate delivery just jumped from 5/17 to 5/4, guess we'll see when it gets here.

Can you please please confirm that these are the ones ?!

Been looking at these (As well as the bronze version) for the TRD ORP I have ordered in Underground, and this picture’s got me sold on that set ! (Might go with 285/70/17 if they do fit the stock setup.

there is 2 sticky threads about the 6th gen wheels specs, those would have answered your question without starting a thread but meh.

the 5th gen hub bore is 106 vs 6th gen 95

lug nuts are 12x1.5 vs 14x1.5

and oem offsets are 15-17 across the board for 5th gen vs 6th gen 13-17 for 17in, 18-22 for the 18in x 8.5J, 53-57 for the 18in x 7.5J and 20in

Well first of all, I didn’t « start a new thread », but simply asked a question in an existing one.
Also, based on my actual research across the forum and internet, the offset for the ones I shared (for which I was simply asking confirmation if they were actually the ones in the pics here), is actually +7, while the offset on the stock tires on the TRD ORP I ordered is apparently +55 (again based on my research on this forum - https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/thr...izes-widths-brands-2025-4runner-6th-gen.1962/)

And while a 95.1 bore (2025) wouldn’t work on a 106.1 bore (2024 and older) the opposite should fit fine (hub centric rings helping).

Again it was just a yes/no answer I was expecting…

Way to make people feel welcome on a new forum bud !

Beat me to it. I looked into this when they came out because I like my 2021 TRD rims and don't like the new ORP rims. Don't want to deal with the hub rings though due to the bore being smaller.

Also the offset and size isn't a match for a '25, my '23 TRD 4Runner Pro wheels are 17x7 with +4 offset. So even if the hubs were the same size a skinny tire sticking out with that much poke would look like $hit!

But now you've been scolded into submission by the almighty and wise. It would be nice if you could simply get help and a polite answer but there's always a Karen waiting to pounce!

Haha, I know, right ?!
Well actually, based on the calculations I found here, the difference shouldn’t be « that bad », whith wheels extending an extra 45mm (the TRD ORP seem very tucked in IMO).
As for tires, I’m looking into possibly 285/75 R17 if they’re able to clear (which I believe they should based on my research here ?!), so not that skinny IMO :)

You're right it doesn't seem that much on paper with less than 2 inches but look at the TRD Pro rims with +25. For me the +25 is perfect size another -21 mm would be too much poke IMO. Also I think the 285 would be a lot for the 7 inch wheel too, here's a pic of ours with a 275/70/17 and it's close to too much width, the 285 has another 1/2 inch.

Thanks for the feedback, it’s hard to gauge how what you see on paper will look like in person; but yeah, overall it would be an extra 1 1/3 inch, which might be a lot

What wheels are these, only saw similar ones in 18 so far, and I’d like to go with a 17.
25 offset you said ?

Was my initial thought to go with 275/70/17, but wouldn’t mind a larger (34?) tire if possible.

Maybe a 25 inset like yours would make it more liveable (1/2 inch over your setup basically)

The pic is from my '23 TRDORP 4Runner, we haven't traded it in yet, but the wheels are '23 OEM TRD Pro 4Runner wheels, 17x7 +4 offset.

I don't have +25 yet still have the standard +55 18" TRD OR wheels on our '25 TRD OR Hybrid. BUT that's my plan is a TRD Pro wheel with a 285/70/18 and small lift once I burn through these Michelins.
