Mine is working fine, but it can be finicky. I’ll most likely just 3d print the 2024 Tacoma mag safe charging plates. They’re also available on Etsy.

Go with the Bulletpoint RubiGrid set up and you can have a charging set up. It techieonally would have to be wired up, but day to day use you wouldn't have go deal with cords.

It's mainly my wife's car, and I don't think she'd go for a seperate mount. More looking to mod the existing location for magsafe. I like that, though. Also not sure how it would work with the 14" screen.

Most of it will be hidden as you can see in the Etsy listing. It would require more work to hide it entirely. I have one of these on the way to test. Will report back later.

If you dig around on the Tacoma forums, they’ve looked into pulling power from the Toyota wireless charging connector, but no one has done it yet or made an adapter that I’m aware of.

I don't. I ended up continuing to use the OEM wireless charger and it's worked just fine for my iPhone 17 Pro when I don't need a fast charge.
