I have a non-hybrid ORP, I ended up doing a TRD pro grill swap and added the Diode Dynamics SS20 light bar, SS6 fog lights, and d-switch, along with some meso customs map lights. In addition, I tapped a fuze for the d-switch ignition sensor wire as well.

For some reason when I set the speed for cruise control it cannot maintain the set speed. It starts decelerating like it normally does when driving and you take your foot off the gas. Weird thing is that lane keep assist, braking when a car decelerates in front of you, and all other features work with ACC. It’s just not maintaining set speed.

Going to take the bumper off to see if maybe I’m pinching a wire causing this issue over the weekend. I’ve unplugged the battery and reconnected which did nothing, and I’m starting to run out of ideas.

If you guys know of any shops out here in AZ who could help with this issue let me know. I took it to Toyota and they did not want to dig too deep due to being “modified” and not knowing how the wires/d-switch were wired.

What does the set speed show on your cruise control indications on the dash and are they displayed in green?

I forget how I did it but there a whole submenu with settings that make ADAS less sensitive. Once I adjusted them ACC became a lot more consistent and predictable because without those adjustment the slightest thing would throw it off. Not sure if this is your issue but it might be worth a try.

Yeah they are all green, but it decelerates for some reason. Here’s a video, foot is off the gas and break:

I see a lane departure warning right next to the green light, which may prevent your adaptive cruise control from working. Also, make sure tow mode is disabled, and if you have anything attached to the hitch , it will disable adaptive cruise.

If you have Dynamic Radar Cruise mode engaged which I think you do and you are approaching traffic in your lane your speed will drop to keep the appropriate distance between you and the guy in front of you. This is totally normal. Click the toggle on the right hand side of the steering wheel to get to normal Cruise mode and this behavior will go away.

I know what you’re talking about, however, it is not engaged at the time in the video. You can see that it doesn’t sense a car in front of me but it’s still decelerating. I’ve also tried with normal cruise control, and it does the same thing not being able to maintain speed it just decelerates.

it looks engages. you can tell by the two Blue lines between green lines.
I would disagree we can see there is nothing being sensed. We can see what you see but you have the center area with mic open so we can’t see what the cruise control is seeing.
