Awesome build! Do you know your total overall height now with this wheels setup?
Hey @abejoharold - the current height is 75 3/4" (about 192cm) from the ground to the top of the Prinsu Pro roof rack. That will change (going up) once my King's arrive from Toytec and I throw the new springs on. I would anticipate another inch at least with the stiffer springs.

Update on my build progress, or lack thereof:

As a fan of King's after having them on my 5th gen build, it was a no-brainer to opt for a similar setup on my 6th gen. Ordered King's mid-February from Toytec, as well as UCAs from Elevate. Ordered the CBI super stock bumper and Superwinch 10k lb winch all awaiting the suspension install. Initially, I was given an estimated delivery of late March/early April. Followed up - mid-May. Reached back out to Toytec this week and they let me know that King Shocks are about 16-18 weeks out on mine (I got my order in early enough) but new orders will be coming with a 30-week lead-time.

In the meantime, I installed the Diode Dynamics D-Switch and cleaned up some of the wiring on the ditch and chase lights.

The wait (mid-July target) is probably going to result in me buying a few more RCI skid plates or something else.

I recently purchased the Dswitch panel and C2 2.0 chase lights to work with my Baja Designs rock lights on my roof rack. I want to be able to control the left pair and right pair rock lights and pair of chase lights separately as well have all of them turn on when i unlock the car on the keyfob and when i open the door to exit. Is there a way to be able to accomplish all that? Looking for guidance. Thank you in advance

Hey @n1comedes - To your questions regarding the D-Switch, yes, you can have the rock and chase lights on the left and right wired up separately. Within the D-Switch controls, each light can be wired to one of the 8 outputs that tie to the switch control buttons. Keep in mind, depending upon how many other things you wish to control with the switch panel, this will determine your button configuration. I have both chase lights running into one button for mine, both a-pillar lights on one button, etc.

Now, for the remote control with the key fob, I believe there's a way, but that might require a deeper dive on this forum and others to ensure you're aligning the right wiring into this. You may want to start a new/separate thread on this topic and see what insight others can give you for that.

Sweet build!

Apologies for the delay - I used the Zroads option for the 2025 Tacoma. I emailed them to confirm and they verified that everything should line up. And the mounting holes did align and it was a quick install.

For reference, I installed the zroadz bracket with the ARB single brushless compressor. Required drilling 4 holes in the zroadz bracket to accommodate the brushless bracket, but everything else is a great fit!

Looks great. Don’t know if you solved the spare issue yet, but I have a 285/75/17 on Method 709 (33.9”) in there - tight but it fits and no mods. Problem is it does impact departure angle and I’ve had it drag a couple times. Looking at options including the Westcott hitch mount, but concerned about losing rear camera capability. You mentioned you may try the Westcott, let us know your impressions if you go that route.

@3rdRunner I haven't jumped on this yet - probably going to be a 2027 upgrade. I've been looking at Westcott's as well as the Dissent. The Dissent option has a really high clearance option for departure angles, which is appealing. Similarly, it looks like you can (somewhat) easily remove the ladder side of the swing out (based on the pictures).

Having to relocate both cameras (backup and digital for rear view mirror) is my only concern, but I assume it's straightfoward.

I'll reassess when I throw the lift kit on in a month (hopefully) and take it out on some local AZ trails for a shakedown.

Yeah - I really don’t want to lose the camera. I looked at Dissent as well - they have a camera relocation kit but I think that’s for the back-up camera only. I’ll be curious what your impressions are after the lift and shakedown.

I'm with you - my plan is to reach out to both ahead of time to get their recommendation for the dual camera relocation options. Maybe it's as simple as 2 relocation kits for Dissent or Westcott. Westcott is about 5 minutes from my house, so perhaps I can plant this idea for multiple camera accommodations (since there's clearly an audience).

lol…if I was 5 minutes away from Westcott I’d be in serious trouble with the boss. The boys are already telling me she keeps saying “Your father is about to be cut off!” I’ll keep an eye out for other options.

@3rdRunner - not sure of your budget, but I found one that features options for the dual camera setup! The Expedition One rear bumper (here) for about $4k. If you go with this, you may want to ask for a "wife receipt" :ROFLMAO:

I'm presently holding out for something different. The Westcott option (with just the tire swing) can accommodate the camera with limited visual impact (if the tire is on the passenger side). Not ideal but better than anything else I'm seeing out there for tire mounting.

Right?!? “Look honey…all this and everything was only 40 bucks. Here’s the receipt.” In all seriousness though, I think you’re right about the patient approach. The Expedition One is a great option but there is the cost factor plus weight considerations. Might have to run some Dobinsons if I went that route. Westcott may be the best approach.

@3rdRunner one more "within budget" item that I ran across in my research - Body Armor makes a rear hitch receiver skid plate. It's the broadest under the rear bumper that I've seen and may provide some level of protection. Again, something I'll look at when my King's show up in July. Like you, I'd like to avoid flattening a spare going over some technical terrain.

But it's on sale and that receipt might be approved by the boss :ROFLMAO:
