Mine has been "ready to be delivered to your location" for 11 days. Like it's chilling, staged in a lot somewhere just waiting on its turn. I'm thinking they are slammed with the release of QC hold and trying to get these bad boys out.

My buddy picked his up yesterday (was a QC hold SR5) and said the accessories and mats were in boxes inside the trunk. Like they were so hurried to get it out after such a long wait they forgot to even put the mats down. I think the logistics folks (from the port to the railyard to the delivery trucks) are overwhelmed.
Thanks for sharing. It is killing me! At 6 days now, so hopefully soon. More arrive at the dealership daily.

Mine finally got taken off quality hold last Wednesday (been at the NY port since May 1) and is now in F status. I live six hours from the port. Any ideas when I should expect it? Dealer indicated it would only be a day or two last Wednesday and still have gotten nothing. It seems like one thing after another!
We're in a similar situation - ours sat at port (Portland) from early May until 6/28, dealer notified us 6/30 it was railbound and that it should be relatively quick (she said she anticipated it being ON the lot by this past Monday), and here we are 2.5 weeks later with no new updates.

I’m in NJ- mine sat in the port since the end of May. Cleared Monday & was delivered to the dealer today. I’m picking it up tomorrow. Have to drive an hour and half away to get it but looking forward to finally getting it.

Same boat (no pun)! I’m in SoCal, and got an update that it arrived today. Going Saturday. Congrats to us and hope others’ are arriving as well.

thats normal procedure, its the dealer job during PDI to unbox and install them.

Picked mine up today. Looks great, happy so far and my kids thinks it’s pretty awesome looking. Back to Toyota since donating my 2002 SR5 in 2019 after 17 years.

Put down deposit on SR5 in April. Got stuck on the quality hold May 15th. I finally just heard from dealer today that it released from port and should be in next week hopefully. I went through a dealer in Tennessee to escape all the southeast Toyota extra high markup port installed options, and get a decent below MSRP price. Hoping it comes in next week

Holy smokes. After putting down a deposit in April, then getting stuck in QC status for months, mine got released from port almost 2 weeks ago now. It then showed an ETA to the dealer of a few days later. Then the vehicle never showed up and the ETA disappeared. Now the ETA is back and it says August 12th to Sept 2nd. My dealer has been great and I am excited to get my SR5 (hopefully someday), but I am very disappointed that Toyota clearly did not prioritize these vehicles in QC status. Dealers have already received newer built 4runners while the ones on QC status remain at port for months, or now stuck on a carrier trailer until they get a driver to move them. Sorry for the rant, but I believe that if Toyota put any real effort and money into this QC front air dam issue, they would have been fixed and shipped much faster, which would have been the right thing to do IMO. I am a long time Toyota purchaser, but they really dropped the ball on this IMO.

the problem with QC hold vehicles is they have to wait for parts to arrive vs inline assembly line changes that already incorporate the new changes.

also remember that new built vehicle has been on a boat for 4-6 weeks vs waiting for parts to be made outside of assembly line parts priority

That's exactly what I mean. My ordered SR5 got to port around May 14th. It's August and I still don't have it. They continued to build and deliver new vehicles with the correct parts in the meantime, which means that they do indeed have the correct parts. I would think the QC vehicles should have been priority to get those parts and get delivered asap, but it seems Toyota took the first in, last out approach to manufacturing on this. My guess is they were not willing to lose any time and money at all by slowing production a few days and quickly shipping the parts they had in order to fix the QC vehicles with those parts first. Priorities.
