What is "Quality Hold" Status

Just received message from dealer it’s getting delivered over the the next 2 weeks or less. It matched the spreadsheet that has also now been updated. Ordered 4/15, on hold since end of May so will be somewhere around 55 days or so from the time it hit the port to dealer. Another dealer told me based their experience it’s 60 days sometimes 90 days to clear and get delivered. Happy to see some movement.

The dealer just texted me the update saying possible 16th but def by the 25. Matches the spreadsheet. As frustrated as I’ve been, I’m glad I’m almost there.

After putting in my order on March 6 and waiting for what seems like an eternity, my dealer just emailed saying my Trailhunter should be delivered tomorrow!??

im good to go....Besides the damn water spots i cant get rid of off my windshield?

This could be due to hydraulic oil that dripped onto the window during shipping (from one of the big haulers). Happened to me when my Venza got delivered and no amount of soap and water would remove it from the glass, I didn't realize til a mechanic told me what it was. You can try to get at it with a commercial glass cleaner formulated for grease and oil, or just use some white vinegar or isopropyl alcohol.

one of the cleaners i used Sprayway got it clear but still spots, Invisbleglass smeared it. I bought some glass stripper and will try on passenger windows since they are spotted also. I did think about vinegar solution but decided to get a stripper now might need polish after stripping it.

i am getting to that point as well. Was wanting something for the summer/early fall for camping/adventure and my VIN continues to be blank on ETA field and dealer and no info.

It’s frustrating I know. I was also starting to go to other dealers looking for other vehicles, but if you really want it then within 60 days from the port you should be OK.

Got this from the dealer yesterday… it was like pulling teeth trying to get any info from them.
i think the general manager is avoiding me at this point since they sent me to the internet sales director. ?
Today is day 56 of the 56 day hold… ?

Update. The excel spreadsheet updated last night and I now have a delivery date window of 7/17-7/25
can’t wait to be one of the cool kids finally.

Apparently my dealer doesn’t know this yet. ??‍

Thanks, I really appreciate the help… I JUST saw this morning it was taken off hold and has a delivery date between 7/17 & 7/25.
My sales guy also just called about an hour ago to let me know.

After 4 months of waiting, I just picked up my Trailhunter!

Mine finally got taken off quality hold last Wednesday (been at the NY port since May 1) and is now in F status. I live six hours from the port. Any ideas when I should expect it? Dealer indicated it would only be a day or two last Wednesday and still have gotten nothing. It seems like one thing after another!

Mine has been "ready to be delivered to your location" for 11 days. Like it's chilling, staged in a lot somewhere just waiting on its turn. I'm thinking they are slammed with the release of QC hold and trying to get these bad boys out.

My buddy picked his up yesterday (was a QC hold SR5) and said the accessories and mats were in boxes inside the trunk. Like they were so hurried to get it out after such a long wait they forgot to even put the mats down. I think the logistics folks (from the port to the railyard to the delivery trucks) are overwhelmed.
