What is "Quality Hold" Status

My dealership told me it should arrive by the end of the week. Here's hoping!

Same for me! My dealership said it should arrive any day now. Availability date on website indicates June 11.

The date has been pushed back too many times. I guess that I won't believe it until the "key"

you folks are way to antsy, ive been waiting since 12-dec-2024 and still nothing. even if it showed allocation today, i wouldn't see it until aug-sep

and i check everyday to see if i get my allocation picked up

I think you might not be antsy enough ?. I had to tell my dealer that I was going with another dealer in order for them to get an allocation for me. I put a deposit down and waited weeks with nothing. Called and told them I was dipping and they had an allocation for me in less than 30m.

I hope you get your baby soon though. The waiting without any idea sucks.

My cousin just posted the real reason our 6th gen are on hold...

According to the Toyota inventory website, up until the QC hold began, my TRD OR had an estimated delivery date of 5/18. During the QC it changed to vehicle may be in transit and no longer listed an estimated date. As of this morning even that is gone and no longer states anything as far as being in transit or a date. The spreadsheet does not show an estimated date either.

Should I assume it is going to be delayed for a bit longer than the typical 30 day QC inspection? I’m not sure which port it was coming from or how to find that out, but the spreadsheet states port to dealer. ?

I just hit my dealer up today about my ORP, the window for deliver was supposed to start today.

Now they say its going to likely be in July due to the Quality Control hold and was sent the following generic response from Toyota:
