forgot to add, you can manualy set the avs height in normal by adjusted the sensor arm under the rear bed. i think one person said he set it to default to like 4 in higher in normal mode. but we careful, it will affect your ride quality setting this outside norms.

not sure how the system works in the 4R though or where the sensor is compared to our 2023 tundra platinum

Unless the power steps come on the 4runner model as an option, Toyota doesn't make a power step kit you can buy. You can buy all of the parts for the steps from them for 19K, 2 dealer quotes and shown to me on the parts computers. Looking at possible AMP Power Steps, if they are going to make them.

I'm pretty sure Amp makes the factory ones, and would put a wager on them making them available aftermarket.

There’s an option for them on the Limited and Platinum I believe and they’re only about 1200. Amp as you mentioned. Sounds like you’re dealer is a scammer and needs to put down the crack pipe.

Actually it's 2 different dealerships quoting the same price, 2 different states.

AMP says their projected time frame is possibly Nov 25, no promises.

Toyota’s parts website lists the auto step boards anywhere between $7800-9900 PER side. It’s not a dealer crack pipe. It’s the OEM crack pipe…
