Seems to be a silicone based product… why this over another one?

I'm sorry I've used it only for door seals and window seals not tires.

I worked on the spare tire yesterday and found a chain hoist, no cable or spool. I used Krown Oil, a light preservative, instead of grease since it's exposed.

Also confirmed the spare wheel is a bronze Trailhunter wheel, as expected.
