LOL! I don't like the wheels either. But wheels aren't a dealbreaker for me. Especially those. Some people LOVE them. So swapping them out or selling them wouldn't be difficult. I'd probably put the Tundra/Sequoia Pro wheels on it.

Happy Trailhunter owner. Preference is what it is. I like the bronze wheels and much more than the TRD Pro ones. The style of the snorkel doesn’t bother me but damn it’s noisy. I’d possibly consider an aftermarket option to quiet it down in the future, but for now the novelty hasn’t worn off. I prefer the OME suspension over Fox, I put OME on my 5th gen. I like the interior and exterior styling of the Trailhunter over the TRD Pro. Lack of a moonroof is kind of a bummer but I only ever used mine on the 5th gen to make sure my skis were still up there ?. It’s the first car I’ve owned in 30 years without one. All things considered both are amazing and I love that Toyota has 2 top trim options. For me the Trailhunter beats the TRD Pro but I see the appeal of both.

I think the snorkel and sound would eliminate many possible buyers

I went with the TRD Pro bc it was more appealing to one on the look of it. The wheels on the TrailHunter was a no more, and the fact that it doesn’t come with a Sunroof was a hard no for me. I have the Mudbath color Pro. And I love it!

100% agree with everything you just said. I just bought my Trailhunter in Everest today. And I’m a fan of everything it offers. And as a bald, pale guy, a moonroof is pointless (especially with a rear window that allows for additional air flow). All of this comes down to what’s important or attractive to the individual.

I don't like the Trailhunter because of the bronze wheels, the silver panels, and the grey/silver interior. The interior particularly bugs me because it looks nearly the same as my wife's 2008 Limited 4Runner.

Looking to trade my 18 Pro (Cav Blue) for a 25 Pro (Mudbath or Underground). Mudbath just seems hard to come by at the current time, and that is my 1st choice for sure.

I would have bought an Off-road Premium if I could have ordered it with the optional trailer tow package with factory trailer brake controller installed. But Toyota doesn‘t let us order a car, you have to take what’s coming in and settle for the model that comes closest to your desires and modify it. The TRD Pro comes standard with that tow package and the Hybrid is standard as well. With all those extra $$$ spent for nice padding and features, I’ve come to appreciate the plush interior and so many extra items I would never have ordered but am using every day, like seat cooling, moon roof and large monitor. I keep cars a long time, so the cost of the top of the line extras are spread out over several years. All that said, the Pro Hybrid towing is spectacular, barely know my 4000 lb, 1968 Airstream is there. My 2012, 180,000 mile Trail Edition could barely get up a long hill when towing. My sole regret is that I couldn‘t get it in silver to match the trailer. I went with Ice Cap.

PS: not a fan of the Trailhunter’s air intake, gold wheels or interior colors, just my aesthetics.

I'd be really curious to see what the sale distribution is like in Canada, where the Trailhunter is significantly more expensive than the TRD Pro. I personally love the way the Trailhunter looks. I love the snorkel, I love the bronze wheels, and I love the Everest color. I'm currently on a wait list for a Trailhunter, and won't even consider a TRD Pro. The only thing I want from the TRD Pro is the sunroof

Thank you! I found one in stock the other day at Orangeville (sold the next day). The only reason I haven't gone for it is because it's so close to the 2026 MY, and I'm really hoping Toyota adds the HUD from the Tacoma. If I got information that the HUD won't be added in 2026, I'd be much more willing to buy now. If I knew that there won't be a HUD in 2026 AND Everest will not be an option, I'd go pick up this truck in Brantford tomorrow!

I guess you have an overnight decision to make. I prefer the pro and I definitely wanted the sunroof. I am in Ajax, Ontario. I put my deposit on May 1st and I am still waiting. My sales rep said that I will be getting a 2026. Hopefully they add the HUD, air compressor and heated rear seats.
