My TRD ORP was ceramic coated maybe 3 weeks ago....
I am finding that even with that treatment, I am getting some road tar spots that can be stubborn to remove.
When I find these I hit them with a ceramic detailing spray and microfiber and most come off easily but there is always one that gives me an issue, I know I can't use a clay bar on ceramic coating, but is there anything more aggressive I can use that is still safe for ceramic ?
Also, I am pretty sure I found a tar spot on the lower portion of the front that they coated over with the ceramic treatment. It won't come off with detail spray/microfiber and won't come off after rinsing/washing with pressure washer and foam cannon. It doesn't feel raised relative to the surrounding area so thats why I am thinking they either coated over it or its just some weird paint blemish ( its more dark brown in color as a opposed to road tar black ). Overall it's not that big of a deal and I don't really blame the shop if they missed it because its probably only noticeable to me and I am kind of an OCD freak when it comes to looking for imperfections, but if it is something on the paint and under the ceramic coating is there anything that can be done by me to address it or is it just best to leave it until I take it back in for the 6 month ceramic touchup treatment ?
