Hello,
Lots of great content on here that has helped me upgrade my SR5. I wanted to share one I recently did I haven't seen on here.
The rubber center arm rest was less than desirable especially after upgrading the shift knob to the leather OEM one.
I found the OEM leather center console with grey stitching that matches the SR5 interior very nicely.
Here is it with the correct part number (Part Number 58905-35160-C2 -- Door Sub-Assembly, Console Compartment).
I paid $200 and the install took about five minutes. Super easy.
Updated with install instructions:
Install is incredibly easy. Pull gently on the rear panel of the console that holds the AC vents. And the panel will come off very easily. Then open center console and pop off just the top of the sides of entire center console working from the back where back piece was removed. Then pull the sides far enough away to clear the top insert that holds armrest, look at the new part for guidance. Then pull up the panel where the cup holder is closest to center console. You should then have clearance to close the arm rest and the yank up. Comes off very easily. I had my plastic trim tools and didn't even use them. Just my hands.
