Not quite correct on the LT not having a warranty. Mine have a 50k warranty, whereas the equivalent SL rated tire have a 65k warranty.
again as i stated, i said "most LT tires dont have a mileage warranty"

i didnt say all LT tires

the main reason its that the manufacturer has no way of knowing how the tire will be used
vs SL or passenger tires.

I run a 295/70/18 Recon Grappler in SL on my Pro. I too won't be doing heavy offroading with this one, so that's why I went with the SL. I LOVE how smooth and soft they are, but I can already see they will wear out much faster than an LT version in C, D or E. The tread is soft, as well as the sidewall, which is why it's also so smooth. Also, it's 53 lbs vs in the mid to high 60s for the same tire in an LT. That makes a MASSIVE difference in MPG (which I don't really care at all about) and get up and go.

Also, just remember that the SL versions of the same tires will have less aggressive tread depth as well as sidewall aggressiveness. They look softer, optically, than their LT counterparts, so even though they may have the same dimensions on paper, in reality, they will look smaller mounted on your truck.

All that being said, I am considering the Baja Boss AT in 35x12.5r18 for more aggressiveness and width. Plus they are amazing tires for street and snow. They come in D load so the ride will stiffen but it won't be too bad with how heavy the hybrid system makes the 4R. Only issue is the weight being in the mid 60s...kills alot of power.

All something to consider...
