are the Pre-Wired Auxiliary switches worth the dealer charge of 400$ or is this something I can do later for cheaper? I am trying to not get every little option, to keep my price down

the higher trims already come with the switches installed. you could just order them and then later on run the wires as needed for whatever you hook up to them.

pre-wired to what ? nothing is tied to them so i cant see how they are pre-wired except for maybe power to turn on the switch lights?

depending on what you hook up to them, you might have to re-wire them anyway.

Thank you this is helpful. I'm finding that most add ons are more expensive from the dealer. Makes sense

Unfortunately most higher trims the wiring only goes so far as the blanks behind the dash, no wiring is present under the hood.
As someone who just spent about $400 on aftermarket supplies to modify my vehicle with switches if you only will need 4 switches at most absolutely get them installed at factory, dealers don’t know how to do it yet and the harness alone is about $2500 as it’s tied into everything else in that fuse box
