No-drill relocation kit for front license plate holder (my solution)

How has everyone installed the front license plate holder? I'm not wanting to drill holes in my brand new 4runner and wonder how everyone else has handled this. I live in Florida and front plates are not required here but I normally put a custom plate on my vehicles.

I actually got the license plate relocation kit from mishimoto and it’s pretty good it’s made for a 24 and up Tacoma but I got it anyways and it’s pretty solid to me u just have to play around with it alittle to get it right but so far it works for me. When installing it just don’t put it the same way as the video shown on there site I had to switch them around to make it work. Here’s the link for it if you guys are interested.

In Texas (our county anyway) the tag comes with the delivery. Mine was personalized plates from trade. So the store just attached at delivery.

I suggest checking with Toyota for the official ones. In states where they are required, at least, they are added for free. If they argue that perhaps you can tell them you are considering moving to a state that requires them (that can be true...you can consider then decide not to ;-)). I suspect they will provide it for free though on request.

I have a 25 Tacoma as well and purchased this Mishimoto front tag holder. Are you telling me it fits the 4Runner also? That would be great!

My OCD would drive me crazy having it off center. Good option though. I hate that the spear tire is off center.
