After months of contemplation and some decent amount of wheel time, I finally pulled and took delivery of an offroad premium.

I was able to get it for invoice with a combo of a discount and some extra money on my trade. These can be had for deep discounts, you just need to be aggressive, they are not as much of a hot commodity than they lead you to believe. I am in NH and it was relatively easy to do, just hard to find the right build. For those of you who the dealers try to strong arm into their financing, do not do it, walk.. they make more of these every day.

I came from a 2023 Tundra that just did not satisfy me, the space in the rear seat of a Tacoma was pathetic, and after a lot of soul searching a trailer will do what I need it to do and this will definitely pull my boat.

Looking forward to checking out everyone's builds. After dumping $8600 of extras into my truck I said that I wouldn't do it again..... but I know that is a lie. I am a former master technician turned chemist, I have wrenched and wheeled several Toyotas since 17 years old for 28 years now when I purchase my 1995 Tacoma gem V6 short cab. If anyone needs advice, insight, or guidance, I am always willing to help the Yota community. And I don't know everything, there is always more to learn and I look forward to it.

Future plans for Old Man Emu MT64s and some real Wildpeak AT4W's, probably keeping this one simple, it's my daily.

Congraulations on your new 4Runner. I remember reading your thread last month about whether to trade in your Tundra and it sounds like you're happy with your decision after much thought and consideration.

Having a former master tech on here will be very helpful. As for "probably" keeping your rig build "simple," we know how that tends to go ;) Look forward to seeing your rig come together and your ownership/technical insights.

Thanks! Dude, my 77 year old dad has owned only two vehicles in 52 years and has had is Tacoma for 25, first words out of his mouth were do not buy any more aftermarket parts. What he doesn't know is I already have a shopping list, so yep we both know what will happen.

Congrats, looks great! I have one on order, also wanted something to reliably tow the boat. Hope to see an update on how she handles!
