Need some gas tank skid plate advice for a Limited 4wd

I put a Rival front skid plate on it last week and I'm flipping coins over whether to put a skid plate on the fuel tank. Mainly just adding stuff that my old SR5 4wd came with stock. Mainly just driving on highways with some light off-road driving when my family goes out to New Mexico but nothing like rock climbing and let's see if I can tear up my 4Runner and not get home stuff. Anyway, just wanted to hear an opinion on it as it's next on my list to do before doing the transmission skid as the Rival front plate covers the same real estate as the old skids on the 2021.

if you drive across a bunch of deadwood (logging roads or post-storm trails)
a gas tank skid can help prevent small diameter log or tree from poking up and
cracking the tank. driving across deadfall, them things can mess up the
underside on occasion. my '99 gas tank skid is dented from wood debris I drive over

My TRD ORP gas tank skid has taken some abuse off road (see second photo).
Does the Platinum not come with this black skid? Somehow I had assumed all the trims had it:

It's got half a skid plate on the front of the tank.

that half skid is just a curb feeler....
when you hear it scraping stop get out and examine the situation

Had a close call with a branch hitting the upper shield section above the stock skid. So, I’d recommend one.

Curious what are peoples thoughts on a transfer case skid plate as well if its necessary or not

Got my gas tank skid installed today. Ordered from Battle Born Offroad yesterday around 2:00 in Texas and Fedex delivered it to me at 12:30 today. Took about an hour to install it with the help of one of my teenagers who learned how to use a lift for the first time. Had the 4runner up on ramps but should have just put some jack stands on the rear axle. Anyway, got it in and the gas tank and engine are taken care of and I'll think about getting a transmission plate later.
