Need Help With Wheel Selection

Hello All I purchased some extra limited wheels for my wife’s 4Runner. She wanted a platinum cause of the gloss black accents but I didn’t cause of the hybrid engine. So I took the extra limited wheels and got them powder coated gloss black but now she is kind of liking the silver and I believe the gloss black looks great! Let me know if you like the black or the silver. FYI I do have black roof rails that are also going to be installed soon.

Original wheels and silver rails are good, but I do prefer the platinum wheels and black rails on the pearl white. Might want to switch out silver/grey bumper parts on both front and back too

Thanks for the feedback. I get the rails today so the look of the Platinum is coming around. I do plan on getting the cost of getting those front and rear bumper pieces painted

Does she like more of a premium/luxury look or sportier look? Silver wheel for the former and black wheel for the latter. Also, how is she with upkeep and cleaning/washing? Black wheels look great when clean but they only stay that way while parked after cleaning

Personally I like how those gloss black ones look on her 4Runner.

Personally I like the looks of the silver wheels and accents on the 2025 limited. I didn’t like the chrome on the 2024, but the silver is more subtle and classy looking.

should have gotten the tundra platinum wheels

i am seriously thinking of using my wife's 23 tundra oem wheels on the 4R platinum since she has fuel red tint wheels on her 23 tundra

I did look at the Tundra Platinum wheel but we wanted black and the gunmetal grey was to close to what we already had.

yeah but bleh black. everyone has black so it kinda is overlooked. i see full black wheels and dont even register anymore.

the gloss black looks great but give it a few years and it will fade worse than the matte black typical on wheels. that luster wont survive long term i am thinking.

but thats just me.

I do plan on keeping my oe wheels for winter time driving. I am very curious how this black acrylic power coat will hold up long term. I was told it is a two step process where the apply the black powder coat and bake it and while it’s still warm apply the acrylic and continue to bake until complete.
