I would try to go to a different dealer, like City Toyota, and see what they say, but it does not look normal to me.

dealer is full of crap. they don't paint the body any different between trims, that is horsesh*t

I feel the same way… Now trying to crowd source and gather evidence so that Toyota makes it right for everyone who has this issue. I'm finding out from FB and forums that there are others with the same issue, but not all, which proves it's not normal!

, emphatically and completely NOT normal!!!! The fact you forked out the cash to buy a NEW VEHICLE means it should meet the minimum standard of being painted in its entirety. Take it back, demand a new one! No way I’d be happy with a NEW vehicle needing to be fixed because of missing paint….. especially at today’s prices. IMO if the manufactures/dealers are asking inflated prices in today’s economy they need to provide exceptional quality too!
