Matte Clear PPF and Heat Shield Install on a Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood

PPF’d and Heat Shield on the Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood

Installed the under hood factory heat shield along with some adhesive backed aluminum heat shield and had the Seibon carbon fiber hood PPF wrapped in clear matte for protection from the elements but I love the way it looks too.

The PPF installer said this was a tough job because of all the different angles. In fact, I need to bring it back so he can finish the hood scoop.

Hope this helps someone who is considering a CF hood.

Looks good in the Matte. Our PPF installer also seemed like they had a difficult time with it. I even shared with them an instagram reel from another installer who did terrific on the scoop since I knew it would be the hardest part since our carbon hoods are one piece and it gave them an option on how to proceed.
