MagnaFlow Overland Series Exhaust Installed on TRD Sport Premium (Gas) - Subtle Sound, No Drone (pics & sound clip video)

Just had the MagnaFlow Overland Series exhaust installed recently and wanted to share the experience. I had it done at a local auto shop since I don't have much hands-on experience myself. The sound is fantastic—subtle, refined, and with no drone at all. It sits much higher than the OEM exhaust.

I’m interested in whether you turned off the vehicle’s artificial engine noise (to the cabin) and the noise cancellation feature? These are both software controlled, and can be turned on/off using Carista…

Correct me if I am wrong but isn't the artificial noise in the cabin only on the hybrid models and not on the gas models?

Good question. My ORP Premium with the hybrid engine has it for sure. The artificial engine sound doesn’t bother me, to be honest, and the active noise cancellation feature does seem to make it quieter in the cabin. Like others have reported, I do have a wind-induced noise at highway speeds, however. I can’t tell if its source is the cross cars on the factory roof rack or the A-pillars. Over to other members to respond with respect to whether these software features are present on other configurations…

Sounds great! Fake exhaust noises pumped through the car speakers piss me odd more than I have the words to describe. If the beshitted thing is electric, let it make no noise. This isn't a GMC Hummer where they pump fake noises through the speakers that the driver has no ability to cancel.............is it?

Im seriously considering doing the same on my 2.4L Turbo too. How does it feel after installation? Power increase etc?
