Issue with iPhone connection. Help!!

When my wife connects her iPhone to the 4Runner, a window pops up on the dash (see pic) and the audio only plays through the left side and at low volume. Most of the time when she starts driving it goes back to normal. It does not happen with my phone. I have tried everything possible that AI has suggested. I am just wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what was the fix.

Check and see if there is an update for her phone. Carplay is controlled by the phone. The IOS 26 release also updated the CarPlay. They even made so you can watch video while the car is in park but sadly only BMW enabled it for their vehicles.
