Illuminated Logo Installation Question

The video I saw about the install process it called to disconnect the negative battery terminal. My question is if you disconnect the battery will this have any effect on electronic systems causing them to be reset?

when ever you pull the battery on non-hv vehicles, most things will reset back to factory settings.

mpg, radio stations, etc.

on the new gen, not sure what gets reset since there is so much now that you can customize in the head unit now.

No. It's all stored on a hard drive on the car's computers. Should be fine.
