Hybrid system malfunction /check engine

Second time this has happened in the past 10 days- dealer said the first time it was likely debris from low quality fuel and suggested I use Top Tier only. I’ve filled up at least 8 times since… only Costco and QT. Came on again. Anyone else run into it?

I've had that happen atleast 3 times in the last year and a half, made an appointment the first time to look at it and the next morning it had cleared itself. So far it has cleared since by itself in 1 or 2 restarts. ???

Your dealer is dumb. It's under warranty. Make them take it in, document the warning and that they say nothing is wrong or fix it. Maybe find another dealer.

Next time it has an active code, see what the actual code number is. You can stop in at any auto parts store and have them read it for you if you don't have a code reader.

Wrong. Freeways in Utah, Idaho, Nevada, etc. are 85 mph
