I am curious does anyone know if there any aftermarket switches that would go where the higher lever trims have lightbar/fog light and the looks to be lift gate lights. On my OTP there are two blanks there and I was thinking it could be a good spot To wire up led bars that have options for backlight or power level vs using the aux switch and having one.

Sorry I cannot answer your questions directly but these switch blanks and the housing are a source of one of the many interior rattles. If you do pop them blanks out you might want to slap some silicon seal or something else to prevent the plastic on plastic rattle.

Those are the spot on my Trailhunter for the lightbar and changing the fogs from amber or white. They save money by having one plastic trim piece for all trim levels.

Yeah I was aware and I thought that was clear I know there are things being used in those locations for the trail runner and pro trims. Since they are not being used they could be useful spots for other switches but does anyone know if there are switches that are compatible with my those openings.

You know it would be if I could RTFM and not zoom through your post missing the point. That one is on me for sure. I don't know the answer, but it does seem like it could be something that is doable. I know there have been a few threads out there of folks retrofitting the OEM lightbar. Wonder if they just used the AUX buttons instead.
