Considering the 2.5" OEM TRD suspension kit, but honestly I am not sure I want to put anymore money into this truck. I can't put my finger on it, but after a year of ownership, I like the vehicle, but I don't love it. It just feels like it's not special. After 12 years with my 5th gen (still sitting in my driveway) I just can't get myself to feel the same way about this one... Every time I look at my 5th gen it brings a smile to my face. This one... not so much. I will say I hate driving the 5th gen now though.

It feels smaller inside, the flip forward seats are a horrible design choice, the fender flares don't fit flush and it constantly pisses me off, the 4cyl feels kinda gutless on the top end and the shifting from 1-2-3 when its cold is just janky. ORP suspension is way too stiff for city driving comfortably. The cabin materials just feel cheap esp for a $58k truck. Backseat leg room is wayyy smaller than 5th gen. Every time I see a LC250 I am just reminded that I have the uglier version of the same truck. Idk if I'll keep this one much longer tbh. Thinking maybe a slight lift might change the way I feel about it but idk if that's worth it. Just thinking out loud lol.

I made the mistake of selling my Tundra to the guy that owns the house at the entrance to my neighborhood. I see it almost every day and MAN do I miss it.

I really dig my 4Runner and I'm not sorry I bought it. But that Tundra had me looking back at it for 13 years.

You nailed it. It's the 'look back at it' factor. It's unquantifiable. When I work out in my garage, I have both front ends looking at me, and I legit don't know how I am ever going to sell the 5th gen to buy a baby hauler. It's too good looking. I just know I would regret selling it. I may end up with 3 cars and a lot more debt because of this 😂 I wish I had a kid 16 years ago so I could hand it down lmao
