First off-road in MudBath Pro

I took my first off-road run yesterday. Seriously, at about 2,500 miles this was the first time I drove in anything but 2H!!! I drove up to the Rapidan Wildlife Management Area here in Virginia. Tried out 4H and 4L; everything worked great once I reminded myself to go through neutral before switching in 4wd. The road got a bit narrow and I bumped the spare tire on a steep exit angle, so I turned around -no need to get too crazy. I parked in a campsite by the river and tested out my induction plate cooking set up. Nice steak and red wine for lunch in a slight rain. Then off for home. It was a nice shake-down run for trips yet to come. TRD Pro ran like a champ! It was great to spend some time in the woods.

cool - Rapidan was also my first off-road excursion. Was at ~1750 miles. Nice area.
Not much farther north and west is Peter's Mill which is fun and has some challenging off-shoots worth trying- including Walter's Gap which gave my undercarriage its first rock marks. Next on the list for me in that general vicinity (but yet farther west) is Union Springs/Flagpole Knob and the German River trail.
The green onX trails are fun but if I'm going to travel any distance, it needs to be blue at this point. (Although during/after a big rain, Rapidan might get a little dicey with those creek crossings that were very mild when I was there.)

On-X just kinda took me there and dropped me off in the middle of the area. I wasn’t sure if I kept on going that I’d come out on the other side or just go around in a circle.
