Got the TE’s & Wildpeaks mounted on my TrailHunter last night. No rubbing, removed mudflaps & that is all. Waiting on the Westcott lift, but very happy with the fitment!

Looks great - and I'm thinking about doing the same tires on the TRD PRO wheels with +20 offset on my ORP. Does anyone know if the difference in suspension details between Trailhunter/PRO vs my ORP would change the ability to fit the 285/70's? I realize there are LOTS of related threads on this topic and I plan to create a thread where they are all referenced but these photos sure make it look like there is more than enough room for the 285s on THunter and I figured this was a good place to ask about tire clearance differences with ORP (with stock overall height of 73.6" vs PRO/THunter at 74"). Thanks in advance for any specific insights.

Love the look, the tires really do change it.

How's the ride on them? If I'm not mistaken the Wildpeaks are load rated E. Which should make the ride harder, is it the case? Any notable difference?

Thanks! I agree.
These are actually rated C, when you step up to a 295 width - that’s when the only options are Load E. So these ride really nice & the main reason I stayed at a 285 was for the C rating.

How’s the mpg holding up? Those look great and I love the idea of C load but the weight add is material. Curious what kind of MPG impact you are seeing

looks awesome! considering that those wheels weigh 45% less than OE, curious to know how is mpg / handling after. Did you have to get adapter rings? if so which ones. Looking at getting Volk 05x / 08 X to get rid of that wheel weight as well.

Looks great I love the Volks. That being said, where did you get yours because I’m trying to get the red decals for mine. Mine came from Hawaii and they don’t have the red decals..

not too much of an impact, maybe 1mpg less overall. I think the fact that the TE’s are so light helps.

minimal difference in mpg & handling feels similar to OEM as well. No adapter rings, they mounted right up!
