Door Latch Steps?

I am seeing a lot of ads for these door latch steps, and just curious if anyone has experience with them. While they look handy, the amount of stress they would put on on the latch gives me nervous twitch.

Looked at them also, rear door latches are pretty high on the 6G and I agree, looks like it creates a fulcrum point and would put a lot of stress on the latch.

If you look at the details on their web site they explain this--the door latches are built to withstand extreme stresses as they have to hold in an accident. So, I'd not worry about that. BTW, the yellow one is really shaped a bit differently--I asked them. Minor reason, no real functional difference--it was intended to make it easier to hold to use the device to break a window.

All that said, I was really considering them but after seeing where the latches are on the 4Runner I agree with Archer on that--they are really high and think they would be hard enough to step up to for them to be as useful as they could be. The platform does drop down a little from the latch itself, but it would still be high. Maybe if I have a better specific need I will try them.
