How come it's different than Toyota specs on their own web site?

payload (GVWR - curb weight):

SR5 = 1550 lbs
Limited = 1400
TRD Pro Hybrid = 1050

So, after installing a winch, steel bumpers and gears and supply, there may be room for a single driver and no passenger? ?

Here are @Kokorone's door stickers from his 2025 4Runner SR5 4x4

Payload: 1160 lbs / 525 kg (reduced 61 lbs / 28kg by modifications - per yellow sticker)

GVWR: 6075 lbs

Looks like @Kokorone's SR5 has higher payload number and higher GVWR vehicle weight than @jerrycaparros TRD Sport, as one would expect.

Kokorone's 2025 SR5:

- Payload: 1160 lbs (reduced 61 lbs for modifications - per yellow sticker)​

- GVWR: 6075 lbs​

Jerrycaparros' 2025 TRD Sport:

- Payload: 895 lbs (no view of the yellow sticker for payload reduction for modifications)​

- GVWR: 6395 lbs​

the yellow sticker should be added after FIO and PIO are installed. dealer would have to adjust or get a new yellow sticker if they do DIO.

Payload on my TRD Sport is lowered by 23 lbs for modifications.

Payload: 895 lbs / 405 kg (reduced 66 lbs / 30kg by modifications - per yellow sticker

GVWR: 6005 lbs / 2725 kg

There's a still-unresolved issue of the 4runner payload rating (on the sticker in the driver's-side door jamb) being really low, in some of the earlier Youtube videos reviewing the 2025 4runner. It almost seemed like Toyota, early on, was slapping an 895 lb payload sticker regardless of trim level and GVWR/Curb Weight.

Or maybe there were some misprinted labels early on, or whatever reason for the low numbers, I'd like to find out if Toyota has corrected this.

If you've recently taken delivery, could you please post:
1) your trim level,
2) approximately when you took delivery, and
3) the number (in pounds) from the white sticker (in driver's-side door jamb) specifying the payload?

[Edit to add: it's on the sticker that shows the tire pressures. It doesn't actually say the word "payload."
It will say, "The combined weight of occupants and cargo should never exceed xxx lbs."
I'm just looking for the xxx number.]

(optionally you can also post the value from the yellow sticker that makes downward adjustment for the weight of PIO/DIO)

ORP, 895 lbs, took delivery 6/17, yellow sticker -7 lbs for running boards which were only installed option.
