Did Toyota make a mistake. Rigid white/yellow fog lights on TRD PRO!

I wonder if it's like the air compressor. You can't get it but some people said their Pro came with one. I assume that it's a feature the 2026 Pro's will have once they get production running smoothly. Maybe all the Pro's have the wiring needed but because of limited parts availability they aren't installing them yet. Since I think I've decided on a Pro but will be waiting until next spring (one less salty winter) I hope I'm right. I also would love to see more color options for the Pro.

My Pro has the onboard air compressor but not the amber fog lights, just white.

the wiring is different form the trail hunter to the pro. The Toyota dealer figured out how to make it work but he said it was not easy.

So, is it just the wiring that he did or you have to buy the TH rigid lights and then he did the wiring?

I contacted rigid and they told me that they do not sell them and to go to Toyota for the switchable fog leds. Will work with my local dealership and keep you posted on what I find.

I think the total will come out close to 1k installed.

Theres this option for amber/yellow film from Cali raised. I don’t know if it fits the rigids however.

Wow my 25 Trd Pro has ridgid. Did Toyota ship on like this by mistake!

What dealership did this for you? Did they give you the part number and how they did this? Just asking so I can have my local dealership try to order the right part and wire it the same. Let me know and I'll reach out.

Any news with this? Clearly those with Pro models (at the least) somehow have the ability to upgrade to the white/yellow lights. Last night I also saw a couple Tacoma TRD Pro models that have this same accessory upgrade. Here are photos of a window sticker.

Here's a $15 mod I did to make my Rigids selective yellow, using VViViD Air Tint Golden Yellow Film.

I'm dropping the video tomorrow AM showing the lighting. They shine great. But sorry for the crappy photo. I'll try to get better ones tomorrow.

Nice job. I assume you have to measure/template and cut these out? Or do they come precut?

Thanks. I'll show everything on my YT channel, but yes I had to cut these using an exacto knife after measuring the lights with calipers. They were an exact cut. Took probably 25 mins all in, including the cutting. Nothing is precut for the Rigid lights, so VViViD film off Amazon arived the next day.
