Issues with sunroofs generally come from lack of maintenance considering most never clean the drains which certainly will cause leaks. We drove the standard 4 cylinder 4Runner and hybrid and there's Night and Day difference regarding performance. The Hybrid has loads more torque. Toyota has offered Hybrids for years and they're a big segment of their production. You still see tons of Prius running about, enough said. Someone stated that current Land Cruiser isn't a true Land Cruiser. Land Cruiser is the longest running vehicle brand that Toyota offers. If you do a little research, there have been and are various offerings globally. The current Land Cruiser LC250 (Prado) is a variant that's been offered world wide for years. I purchased one several months ago and prefer it over the 4runners considering comfort and ergonomics. It doesn't have as much storage as the 4Runner and if you're the type that travels with everything but the kitchen sink, get a 4Runner. I'm a minimalist and it works for me. If you want a larger Land Cruiser, check out the Lexus GX300. This vehicle is sold Globally as a Toyota but as a Lexus in the U.S. and it's a twin turbo V6 non Hybrid. Good luck with your purchase.

what most people think of a land cruiser is the J40/70/80/100/200/300 series

the current usa land cruiser is based on the prado series J120/150/250 (light duty version) of the original land cruiser series

also the lexus LX series are based on the J300 series

it started with the J80/100/200/310 (current)

the lexus GX series is based on the prado series J120/150/250

the current tundra is the XK70 and the sequoia is the XK80
