I hope this is an ok place to post this, if there’s somewhere more appropriate please let me know.

Does anyone have contact info for Heretic that anybody will answer or reply to? I ordered a light bar from them and the lead time on their website said 2-3 weeks. Were now pushing 5 weeks with no shipment or any communication of any kind. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them via phone (I dialed every extension I could guess in their phone tree, only voicemails and I did leave one), email (3 different ones - sales, support, and info), and a few tries on web chat (they’re always offline) all to no avail. I even tried connecting with the CEO on LinkedIn. Nada so far. If they’re having supply issues or something then whatever, just let me know what’s going on. Absolute non responsiveness is a problem though.

if I can’t get something out of them soon I’m just gonna have to see what my credit card company can do about it. Hoping somebody here might know somebody.

thanks!

Unfortunately, I had the same issue.

I ordered their light bar from elsewhere because I found it cheaper. But I did need to get a wire harness, which I ordered directly from them. There was no lead time for this item and their website didn’t say anything about long shipping times when I ordered it (still doesn’t AFAICT). But I had the same exact experience as you. I couldn’t get ahold of anyone and never got any info from them after placing the order.

I eventually ended up filing a dispute with my CC company and ordered the wire harness elsewhere. It came like three days later. I have everything installed now. I still haven’t received any communication or response and it still is in “order placed” status. It’s been that way for 2 months. 😞

It’s a bummer. I didn’t want to have to file the dispute but also I wasn’t sure what else to do and this stuff isn’t cheap.

Thanks for the heads up. Weird, they generally have good reviews.

Bummer. It’s looking more and more like I’m going to have to do the same. Any idea who stocks their stuff? Either that or maybe I got with diode dynamics.

I know Rave Offroad sells them as part of their behind-the-grille led light bar kit. I'm not sure if/what the lead time is. But I thought that was a bit pricey to buy the kit out-right. I was able to find my light bar through a random online parts supplier at a pretty good discount. (I don't remember which one I ordered from, but I think I found one for ~$400?) I watched the prices for a while and jumped when I saw one significantly lower.

I sourced all of the pieces I needed this way to make it slightly more affordable. I did an entire grille swap and since I have an SR5 I also needed a switch and mounting bracket which I did end up getting both from Rave Offroad.

Thanks, I'll check them out. I'm just looking for the 40" light bar for now to go up in our roof rack.

Oh nice. You probably already have a grille light bar 😅

I haven’t seen then 40” ones in rave off-road (I also wasn’t looking). But I have seen them on Prinsu’s site if that helps.

Yep, I already have the grille one. Looks like the only light bar Rave carries (outside of the various grille ones) is an in house unit meant to mount into their in house roof rack. I saw Prinsu carries them but they don't stock them as far as I can tell and I'm a little leery of ordering through Prinsu only for them to be the middle man for the same experience.

I'll have to do some googling this weekend. I'm calling my credit card company Monday if I don't get any info out of them before then, but at this point I'm pretty confident it'll be more silence.

Well, as expected, no response from Heretic at all. I've disputed the charge with my CC company so we'll see how that plays out.

In the meantime I reordered the bar from Partsgiant.com. I ordered an ATV part from them a few years ago so I know they're legit, and they responded to my email about stock almost immediately. Bonus too, it was $100 cheaper through them. :)

Figured I'd close the loop on this one for anyone interested. While my CC company is still doing their investigation Heretic sent me an automated email that they shipped the bar. Of course, I'd already ordered and received the bar from another vendor so now I'm sitting here wondering what the hell I'm going to do with two of them? Anyway, I figured I'd make a last ditch effort to get ahold of them to cancel the order (it had 'shipped', but hadn't left their dock yet). I sent them a somewhat terse email demanding cancellation while highlighting their lack of communication and, shocker, they replied. He was very apologetic, cancelled the order immediately and refunded the money I paid.

Not sure if this redeems Heretic in my mind, probably not, but in the end they did finally do the right thing.
