Cargo Lamps option install in cargo area interior - photos & DIY instructions

Just wanted to share with everyone here that on my Pro I did not have the optional (additional) cargo lighting which can be located on the rear pillars. They are very easy to install and I feel like when you are spending this kind of money it is a worth while upgrade.

Looks great. How does the red interior look? Wish mud bath was available with red interior.

Oh man I LOVE the red! I agree though, Mudbath would be amazing with Red! Once I saw red was available and not on Mudbath my priority was a red interior and not worried about the exterior.

I’m so jealous, the red interior looks amazing. The wife didn’t want to get another white over red.

I looked the manual. Where do you connect the wire harness to? Is there like a free floating female end?

Excellent! The Sport Premium that I was originally going to get had these as a PIO for $399... Nice to know that I can install these in my soon-to-be Limited shipped to me for only $264.00 all-in.

I looked the manual. Where do you connect the wire harness to? Is there like a free floating female end?

I am not sure, have not looked into that yet. My guess is right behind the AUX buttons.

Sorry, I’m a little confused. Did you not installed the rear cargo lighting?

Oh my gosh, sorry….. yes, plug n play right behind the pillar on the passenger side. Driver side was slightly lower accessible through the battery compartment cover,

In the manual it just said connect the wire harness.
I’m asking where do you connect the harness to? Is there a female end that you connect it to. Lol

Yes, they are female connection points.

Hello thanks for this breakdown of the install. Where did you order the lights from? I see them on a few Toyota parts sites but you mentioned that you were able to find a good deal on them. Thanks in advance
